I am currently working on my PhD in Engineering at the University of Cambridge.

My research focuses on identifying productive and enjoyable interaction strategies for industrial applications of head-mounted augmented reality.

Before starting my PhD I worked as a Senior Automation Engineer at Australia's Cooperative Research Centre for Mining (now called Mining3) where I helped develop autonomous mining equipment.

My MPhil (at the University of Queensland) examined the perception requirements for effective remote control bulldozing. I completed my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne. I also have a BA in Japanese.

I am interested in Automation, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning and Software Development.
